CHICAGO (CBS) – A three-year-old boy is killed and six other people injured in a shootout across town over the weekend.
During the first shootout this weekend, an aging man was hit in the back by a firearm on Friday, at block 600 West 92. Place in Brainerd around 6:09 PM
The victim was taken to the University of Chicago Hospital in an unknown state.
Late in the evening, the 29-year-old was shot and killed in the 300th block of West 54th Street in Fuller Park.
Police say that around 7:22 PM the victim was in the arm and was transported to St. Bernard, initially reported in good condition.
According to the police, the victim did not cooperate with the responding officers.
A three-year-old boy was hit by a firearm while driving in West Lawn on Friday.
Police said around 8:38 pm a woman was driving a white SUV with four children in block 4400 West Marquette Road when someone in the back seat of a red sedan, possibly a Mustang or Charger, fired shots.
The boy was hit on the head and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, and was later pronounced dead.
The other three children in the SUV were not injured. No further information.
A 53-year-old man was shot outside in East Garfield Park.
Police say he was standing on the sidewalk in block 3400 West Lake Street around 11:33 PM when the shots were fired.
The victim was transported by the Chicago Fire Department to the Mt. Sinai in good condition with a gunshot wound to his left shoulder.

· At 12:46 PM Saturday, in Block 1400 on East 47th Street, a 29-year-old man was walking down the sidewalk when two black men approached and tried to rob him with a gun in hand. The victim was shot in the back during the incident and was rushed to the University of Chicago Hospital in reasonable condition by CFD.
At 12:11 on Saturday, at block 2400 South California Avenue, a 20-year-old woman was in the front seat of the vehicle when the green Jeep passenger fired the shots. The victim was taken to the Holy Cross and transported to Mount Sinai in good condition with a gunshot wound to his left shoulder.
· At 3:07 on Saturday, 3500 West Dickens Avenue block, a 28-year-old man was walking down the sidewalk when he heard gunshots and felt pain. The victim was shot in the right leg and transported to the Illinois Masonic Hospital in good condition.
No one is under any circumstances under arrest.
It is a developing story.
