The Seminoles opened 4-0 for the first time since 2015.

Trey Benson had a 93 yard kickoff to touchdown and added a couple of touchdowns (36 and 15). Lawrance Toafili had a 1-yard TD, his third goal this season, and Treshaun Ward had a 22-yard touchdown. FSU (4-0, 2-0 ACC) has 12 quick touchdowns in four games.

Kentron Poitier walked over to score a touchdown from 31 yards, the first result of his FSU career. Darion Williamson caught five passes for 98 yards, both of which are career records.

The defense of the state of Florida prevented BC (1-3, 0-2) from making a midfield cross in the first half. The eagles hit four times and Phil Jurkovec was eliminated twice, one each by Omarion Cooper and Greedy Vance. BC ended with seven points.

BC scored their first points towards the end of the third quarter when Jurkovec teamed up with Alex Broome at the 5-yard TD party.

Boston College: Behind an inexperienced offensive line, the Eagles only made 235 offensive yards and were forced into seven pontoons.

Florida State: The Seminoles scored 31 points in the first half and had the biggest advantage over the ACC opponent in the first half since 2013.
