Sunset for sale star Chrishell Stause criticized Adam Levine for making his statement in light of allegations that he had cheated on his wife, Behati Prinsloo.
The 43-year-old Maroon 5 leader Levin became a popular topic on social media on Monday after Instagram model Sumner Stroh claimed in the viral TikTok video that she had had a one-year romance with a musician.
The 23-year-old model and influencer also shared screenshots of messages she claimed were from Levine, including one in which he asked if he could name his third child after her.
Ex Voice Coach Levine broke the silence on Tuesday by issuing a statement on Instagram in which he denied the affair, although admitting he had “crossed the line” in his communications.
“There is a lot of talk about me now and I want to clean the air,” wrote the singer. “I used bad judgment in talking to anyone other than my wife in ANY flirtatious way.
“I didn’t have an affair, but I nevertheless crossed the line in a regrettable period in my life. In some cases this has become inappropriate; I took care of it and took active steps to remedy it with my family. “
“My wife and my family are all I care about in this world,” he said. “Being so naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that really mattered to me was the biggest mistake I could ever make. I will never do that again. I take full responsibility. We’ll get through it. And we’ll go through it together. “
Dancing with the Stars The 41-year-old alumna Stause was one of countless social media users who responded to Levine’s statement that he opposed his use of one particular word.
“When I apologize for a public cheating, I hate that we and the man go through this,” she wrote on Twitter. – Don’t speak for her. You’ve done enough.
After the tweet got over 19,000 likes in a matter of hours, one Twitter user replied about Levine: “I want to hear,” Of course, I’m the bad guy. I am disgusting and incredibly disrespectful. Now I will try to stop being all these things. I’m very sorry.
“No notes,” the TV personality Stause wrote back, along with two cheering emoticons.
Stroh also seemed to be unimpressed by Levine’s statement, writing on Instagram on Tuesday: “Someone bring this man a dictionary.”
In one screenshot shared by Stroh in her TikTok video, a text message purportedly from Levine in June 2022 read: “it’s really unreal how f*cking hot you are, like it blows me up.”
Another message from Stroh was, “Okay, serious question. I have another baby and if it’s a boy I really want to name it Sumner.
The social media post was shared days after the 34-year-old model Victoria’s Secret Prinsloo, who has been married to Levine for eight years, shared photos on Instagram, confirming that she and her musician husband are expecting a third child together.
In the movie, Stroh said Levine had “completely manipulated her,” adding in the next film that she had the feeling that Levine and Prinsloo’s marriage was over.
“In retrospect, I wish I had questioned things more, I wish I had been so naive, but you know, being naive is not an excuse for what I did and the role I played in it,” Stroh said in the second video.
“Again, I have made no effort to gain sympathy and I am fully aware that I am not a victim of it. I’m not really hurt here, it’s Behati and her children, and I’m “I’m so sorry,” she added.
Newsweek contacted Levine, Prinsloo and Stroh representatives for comment.
