But can I say anything in defense of the hardworking hosts?

After a two-year hiatus, we resumed our annual Christmas party.


Guests were asked to “vaccinate or hibernate” and other obvious measures were taken. And of course, anyone uncomfortable should have politely declined.

I still ran into the same rudeness that has plagued me since I started hosting social gatherings years ago, so I thought I’d share some basic rules that should be revisited.
