Four people were found dead Monday after a hostage situation was reported at a mar*juana farm in Oklahoma.
The Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported hostage situation Sunday night in Hennessy, about 55 miles northwest of Oklahoma City. The Sheriff’s Department called the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation after discovering four dead bodies and a badly injured person on a 10-acre farm. The injured person was transported to the hospital.
All the victims had gunshot wounds.
According to KOCO, the suspect remains at large.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said the victims knew each other and the suspect.
“Everybody knows each other. I don’t know if they’re related, I don’t know if they’re collaborators, but we certainly believe that these people knew each other,” said Captain Stan Florence.
Their names and ages have not been disclosed.
“At this point, we have a suspect in mind. We don’t have any concrete information to share at this point,” Florence said.
Kingfisher County Sheriff Dennis Banther told local media that a warrant was issued for the suspect’s arrest on Monday.
Florence said the OSBI will investigate the shooting while the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics investigates the “mar*juana cultivation operation”, including whether it is a legal farm.
