Hollywood’s Captain Kirk, 90-year-old William Shatner, flew into space.

VAN HORNE, Texas (AP) – Hollywood’s Captain Kirk, 90-year-old William Shatner, has stepped into space with science fiction and science fiction. He left for the final border on Wednesday morning aboard a ship built by Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin Company.

The “Star Trek” hero became the oldest person to ride a rocket.

The fully automated spacecraft is ready to reach an altitude of 66 miles in the West Texas desert. The up-and-down flight lasts about 10 minutes, with Shatner and three other passengers parachuting back into the capsule.
