I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! Tensions flared up again during Thursday night’s episode of a clash between Frankie Bridge and Naughty Boy.
This comes just a day after music producer and Dame Arlene Phillips threatened to leave Gwerich Castle Before The Clink, where the five celebrities were banished, and the main camp merged.
Peace seemed to be restored, however, after a warm welcome from the contestants at The Clink Campmates’ main camp.
Speaking to the Telegraph last night, Naughty Boy said: “Oh wow, I love it.
“Thank god for a new day, the last few days, yes they were tough but god is good but to come here and be a proper family, let’s go.”
But it seems that even after the intense conversation between Naughty Boy and Frankie, the relationship is still bad.
After returning after winning the Castle Coin Challenge, the conversation quickly turned to how the rice was being cooked at the camp, as Naughty Boy felt it was not being cooked properly.
“I’m very fond of cooking and that’s probably not the place to be to cook,” he told the Telegraph: “I don’t want to be the one who says it, I’m just real, it’s not rice.”
After discussing this with Danny Miller, Naughty Boy said: “If we’re eating rice and beans, people will choose to eat rice and beans, not rice pudding and beans. I don’t know if I’m crazy am thinking or thinking too much.”
Discussing this with Naughty Boy, Frankie tried to explain: “You’re just coming to our camp and that’s what we did…”
“No, this is our camp,” said Naughty Boy in between. “That’s wrong what you just said.”
Frankie said: “How did I end up discussing something that…”
Naughty Boy said: “This is not your camp.”
“Don’t be like that,” retorted Frankie.
Naughty Boy replied: “Don’t say like you came to ‘our’ camp.”
Frankie walked away and Naughty Boy said: “Frankie said something where it meant that we had just joined their camp.”
Frustrated, Frankie asked some of the campers: “Why can’t anyone here talk about rice? I can’t deal with it.”
In tears, she said: “I won’t eat rice at this time. I hate any confrontation. Now I’m like, ‘Oh my god, did I say anything bad?’
“I am someone who avoids confrontation at all costs. I hate it. I don’t understand what the issue is.”
Naughty Boy in the Telegraph said: “Shall we just say it’s kind of an early stage? It just got me thinking, maybe we’re outsiders who have come in now.”
I’m A Celebrity continues tonight at 9 p.m. on ITV.
