Ant and Dec have addressed Richard Madley’s Shock Exit,

In a statement, Richard reassured his fans that he was “all right”, but added that he could not return to the palace because he had “broken the Covid bubble”.

Opening Thursday night’s episode with an update, Ant and December explained that they were “blank” about the situation.

The I’m A Celebrity hosts have also confirmed that Richard will appear one last time for an interview during Friday night’s installment.



“You’ve probably already heard the sad news but Richard Madley has to leave the palace,” Ant explained.

“Yeah, Richard got sick early this morning,” December continued. “He is fine but sadly he is not able to return to the camp anymore due to the COVID restrictions.”

Ant said: “He’s disappointed, we’re disappointed, we’ll have the full story, including an interview with the man himself on Monday night’s show.”

“Really looking forward to it,” said Dec.

This comes after Richard’s daughter, Chloe Madley, said he was “flaming” after leaving the camp.

She posted on Instagram saying: “Thank you for all your lovely messages.

“Dad is absolutely fine, we have been talking to him all day and after all, it is just that he cannot go back to the camp because of the Covid restrictions.

“However, he took pride in himself. He worked hard and had a calm, collected, kind and funny nature.” You can read more on this here,
