After 21 years and 33 journeys around the world, the Emmy-winning and recently nominated THE AMAZING RACE celebrates 400 episodes with 12 new bands embarking on their journey of a lifetime as host Phil Keoghan kicks off the 34th edition of the CBS Original series. This season, for the first time, 12 teams of globetrotters will start a race outside the United States, going to the starting line in Munich, Germany. The show also visits the ancient city of Petra in Jordan, where the bands will travel by train and experience a scene reminiscent of the 1963 Oscar-winning film “Lawrence of Arabia”, perform Jordanian folk dance and learn the Arabic alphabet. Also, for the first time in the history of THE AMAZING RACE, there will be no episodes without an elimination.
With one team eliminated at the end of each stage, this will be one of the most grueling races in the show’s history, and the teams will be a surprise when host Phil Keoghan unveils the game-changer in Stage 1 of the race. . Other destinations the teams will travel to include Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Iceland and Nashville, where the first team to cross the finish line will be the winner of THE AMAZING RACE with a $ 1 million prize.

THE AMAZING RACE sends 12 teams trekking around the world. Each team consists of two people who have a prior relationship with each other. Everywhere, each team competes over a series of challenges – some mental and some physical – and when tasks are completed, they will learn the next goal. The teams that are furthest back will be gradually eliminated as the competition progresses, and the first team to reach their final destination will win at least $ 1 million.
