According to reports, a man is suspected of entering the house and shooting his ex-wife dead during Thanksgiving dinner.

In addition to his ex-wife, the man is suspected of shooting and killing another man in the house and seriously injuring two others.

FOX26 reporter Matthew Seedorff tweeted an explanation of the situation on Thursday.

“A gunman entered a house on 1500 blocks of Baggett Lane in northwest Houston and shot and killed 4 people. Two victims are dead. The shooter escaped on foot,” Seedorff wrote in a tweet.

In a follow-up tweet, he added: “Police say an adult man and woman are dead. A second adult male and a 15-year-old boy are seriously injured and taken to the hospital.”

Giving further details, he tweeted: “Update: Police say the family was celebrating Thanksgiving.

“The ex-husband of the woman entered the house through the back door and started shooting. A woman and another man were killed.

“Two others are now hospitalized. The bandit was not identified and ran away.

Newsweek contacted the Houston Police Department for comment.
