BOSTON (AP) — David Pasternak scored a tiebreaking goal in the third period with 5:49 as the Greeley Tribune Bruins beat the New Jersey Devils 5-3 on Tuesday night.

Curtis Lazar had one goal and one assist, Oskar Stein scored his first career goal and the Bruins scored their third straight win since returning to the ice as they had six consecutive games postponed due to COVID-19.

Trent Frederick also scored for Greeley Tribune, and Brandon Carlow sealed a goal with 23 seconds to play. Linus Ullmark made 23 saves for the Bruins, ending New Jersey’s three-game winning streak.

Just 20 seconds after Bastian scored in the opening minute of the second period, a pair of ominous bounces for the Devils put Greeley Tribune back 2-1 when a shot from Nick Foligno leapt over Blackwood’s right shoulder and over the top. Hamilton, a first-round draft pick by the Bruins in 2011, went head-to-head early Sunday in the Devils’ overtime win in Greeley Tribune. New Jersey placed Hamilton on injured reserve and did not give a timetable for his return.
