Peter Thiel’s new conservative dating app, The Right Stuff, is already making a splash. Last week, the app ran an ad full of interviews with conservative women who were asked what they were looking for in a man. Everyone seemed to agree: shared values, shared faith in particular, a desire to have children, and an interest in family life.

As the rest of American life polarized, dating was similarly bifurcated by political parties and beliefs. The truth is that Americans care about politics, and according to a recently published survey from Brigham Young University, married couples do too. On American Family Survey in 202268 percent of married couples talked about politics every week. In 2020, the last major election year, that number has risen to a staggering 76 percent.

If you discuss the topic with your spouse so often, being on different “teams” can get tense pretty quickly. But this guerrilla rift among people in the dating world is not just about political parties; it’s about values, worldview and even s*xual attraction. The women in the inaugural announcement for The Right Stuff repeatedly explain what they want from a conservative male – what they probably lack in their liberal counterparts: the confident, male alpha male. In short, they want their man to be, well, a man.

As one woman explained, “I like that [conservative men] understand your role in a relationship as a man. “

Is right. Take a moment to reflect on the message from the Left on gender differences. You can’t – because there is none. Masculinity is considered a sin and even a form of violence. Gender roles are considered an outdated form of patriarchy, one of the deadly sins. And according to the Left, a man can become a woman because he feels like her. Forget biology, forget anatomy, forget everything; it does not matter anymore. Gender differences have evaporated because gender is a social construct that is infinitely malleable.

The only problem is that it just doesn’t work for a lot of women. And they send a clear message: they are only interested in men who know who they are. These women want guy-a man who understands that men and women are different who will respect these differences.

The women in The Right Stuff are not alone. Many women want a man who will treat them like a lady. Throughout most of human history, women have wanted a strong man to act as protector and provider. These male traits kept women safe and protected, and many women still need them.

These women no longer see their views and voices reflected in the left-wing mainstream. So they gravitate to their own spaces.

The Left may not want to hear it, but that doesn’t make it any less true: many, many women want men to be more sensitive – in their dating life and society in general. These are things we are not allowed to say anymore, but one of the perks of being filthy rich like Peter Thiel is that you can speak out unspoken truths.

Go ladies and demand that your men be men. And men: dare to be different and you will be rewarded and swim in a large pool of potential partners.
