Rugby Super League will be broadcast on Channel 4 for the first time in its history

Channel 4’s Head of Sports, Pete Andrews, said in a statement: “We are extremely thrilled to bring the Super League to free-to-air television for the first time in its history.

Super League president Ken Davey was also pleased with Channel 4’s new partnership.

He added: β€œThe opportunity to offer fans live Betfred Super League action on a free-to-air platform throughout the season is fantastic and we look forward to continuing to serve our existing fans, as well as many new fans. Will also attract sports,” he said.
