DROGHEDA United wing-back James Brown has been recognized by his fellow professionals with a selection to the PFAI Premier Division Team of the Year.
It is the second major individual award for the 23-year-old, who was named Drogheda United Supporters Player of the Year last week after a tremendous season with the Boynesiders – 12 months after voting on the first-class selection.
Brown started 34 of Drogheda’s 37 games, several as captain, and has now made 84 appearances at United Park in three years.
With Brown reportedly on the radar of several clubs including St Patrick’s Athletic and Derry City, it remains to be seen whether he remains a Drogheda player next season.
