Give us some history about the pub:

We revived the railway in 2018, it had been upended for a while and was considered a local eyesore. Since then, we have built a reputation as a family-friendly pub and dining experience. We are proud to be part of a community with close ties to local schools, sports teams and businesses.

Is food served? If so, what’s on the menu?

Yes, we serve a mix of pub classics, big burgers and delicious pizza. There really is something for everyone.

Is there a beer garden?

Yes

Do you have a darts/snooker/pool team?

No

The most popular drink served is:

Everyone loves railway cocktails. Lewis and his bar team are excellent.

Most memorable moment in the pub:

Opening night in 2018 was insane and such a relief. It took a lot of work to build the pub, but this was just the beginning.

Do you have it entertainment line up?

Yes, we will have live events every Saturday afternoon throughout December

Have you faced any challenges within the industry?

The enforced shutdown and outside service only under the government’s COVID response has been incredibly challenging. We were hurt the most in Bolton, but we came back.

Afternoon nap after weekend breakfast on the railway.
