The suspects, wanted in City Terrace Carjacking, were taken into custody after being chased through the LA area.

Authorities say two people wanted in connection with a car jacking and shooting at City Terrace were arrested Monday night after a chase in the Los Angeles area.

The chase began around 9pm when the driver escaped from Los Angeles police on the Los Angeles area-level roads and freeways.

Sky 5’s aerial video shows a white Toyota speeding and several red lights. At one point, LAPD officers went into tracking mode, but then resumed the pursuit.

The chase took place near Dodger Stadium, in the area of ​​El Sereno on the East Los Angeles and Northbound 110 Freeway, just before 9:45 p.m.

The driver pulled over and he and his passenger surrendered to police.

The Los Angeles Police Department told KTLA that the City Terrace shooting took place around 8:20 a.m. Sunday night near the 1300 block of Miller Avenue. Police said the victim was about to park his car when two Spaniards approached him and pointed a gun at him.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the victim managed to escape to his home, but when he fled, the suspects opened fire and shot the victim five times.

The victim’s condition is stable.

After the shooting, sheriff’s officials said the suspects attacked another victim and stole a white Toyota from City Terrace.
