Two men, aged 36 and 51, have been charged with attempted murder and kidnapping after an injured man was found lying in a field outside of Antrim last month.
The 51-year-old has also been charged with violating terrorist notification requirements.
It was reported that a man was found in “critical condition” after suffering multiple wounds on Monday, 11 October.
He was treated at the site shortly after 8 a.m. at the farm on Lisnamurrikin Road, before being taken to the hospital.
Police said they were investigating links to an incident on Dauri Road in Ballymena where a silver-coloured Volvo car caught fire shortly before 7 a.m.
The two men, who have been charged in connection with the incident, are to appear via videolink in the Ballymena Magistrate Court on Thursday.
As in normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
