Will Smith requests Jada to stop discussing marriage in old IG Live clip

“Esther, please help us again,” Pinkett Smith said briefly before turning the camera to herself. “I’m still dealing with stupidity.”

“Don’t… no, no,” said Smith in response, before an intrepid Pinkett Smith pressed into his line of questioning.

Sticking to his guns, Smith quipped: “My social media presence is my bread and butter, okay? So you can’t use me for social media… I’m standing in my house. Just don’t start Do rolling.”

Perel actually made an appearance on this red table talk In 2019, host Pinkett Smith asked her guest about “alternatives to divorce.”

Agreeing with Perel’s statement, Pinkett Smith said she could be “so related” to the statement, especially as it pertains to her marriage to Smith, with whom she has been married since December 1997.

“I get asked a lot about, ‘Is there infidelity in your relationship with Will?’ And it’s like ‘no,’ but there have been other betrayals at heart that are much bigger than I thought in regards to an infidelity situation.”

Pinkett Smith confessed during a Red Table Talk special in 2020 that she previously had an extramarital romantic relationship with August Alsina. He famously referred to the situation as “confused” while speaking with Smith.

During the episode Pinkett Smith and Smith said that the relationship with Alsina happened while they were on a break. Smith later revealed that he sought affection outside of their marriage as their relationship had become non-monogamous.

The couple’s relationship has recently faced scrutiny, after Smith slapped Chris Rock on stage at the Oscars in response to a comedian’s joke about Pinkett Smith’s shaved head. Pinkett Smith has spoken publicly about hair loss due to alopecia.

After slapping The Rock at the Oscars, Smith returned to his seat next to Pinkett Smith as he warned the comedian to “keep my wife’s name out of your f****** mouth.”

Smith returned to the stage minutes after accepting the Best Actor Oscar for his efforts in the biopic King Richard. After the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences revealed that disciplinary action would be forthcoming, Smith resigned from the organization.
